Government Incentives & Rebates
Make The Most Of Solar Rebates
Federal and state incentives such as Small-scale Technology Certificates, feed-in tariffs and the Cheaper Home Batteries Program (up to 30% off battery storage) can significantly cut the cost of going solar. We help Gladstone homeowners access every rebate they qualify for.
Lower Your Upfront Cost
Rebates That Bring Solar Within Reach
Government incentives are designed to encourage households to switch to cleaner, cheaper energy, and they can take a meaningful chunk off the upfront price of a quality system. The most common are the federal Small-scale Technology Certificate (STC) rebate for solar and hot water, preferential feed-in tariffs that let you sell excess power back to your provider, and the Cheaper Home Batteries Program for battery storage.
Available since July 2025, the Cheaper Home Batteries Program offers eligible households and small businesses up to 30% off the cost of installing a small-scale solar battery: a federal rebate of around $372 per usable kilowatt-hour, or up to $3,720 on a 10kWh system. Because eligibility rules and rebate values change over time, the smartest move is to have a local accredited installer confirm exactly what you qualify for today.
Who Qualifies
Eligibility, Made Simple
- You are installing an eligible solar power, battery or solar/heat-pump hot water system.
- The system is installed by an accredited installer using approved components, which is exactly how we work.
- Your property and system size meet the program requirements for the rebate.
- We check what you qualify for during your free assessment and handle the paperwork for you.
Rebate availability, values and eligibility are set by government programs and change over time. We confirm current incentives at quote stage.
